Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Sectem Technologies’ websites, public forms, resources, demonstrations, and other online experiences that link to these terms (collectively, the “Website”). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Sectem Technologies is based in Pakistan and provides technology and business services worldwide. References to “Sectem,” “we,” “our,” or “us” mean Sectem Technologies and, where relevant, its affiliated companies.
These terms apply to the Website only. A proposal, statement of work, master services agreement, product agreement, data processing agreement, or other written contract will govern the corresponding client service. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the written client agreement controls for that service.
Website purpose
The Website explains Sectem’s Build, Grow, and Operate capabilities, including product engineering, AI and automation, data intelligence, e-commerce technology, cloud and platform engineering, cybersecurity, growth and revenue operations, and managed business operations.
Website content is provided for general information and evaluation. It is not a binding offer, professional advice, or a promise that a particular service, feature, result, timeline, or team will be available.
Eligibility
You may use the Website only if you can legally enter into a binding agreement and your use is permitted by applicable law. If you use the Website for a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Website to:
- break any applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
- submit false, deceptive, unlawful, or harmful information;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- introduce malware, malicious code, or disruptive automated traffic;
- probe, scan, or test security controls without prior written authorization;
- scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content or personal data without permission;
- interfere with the Website’s operation, security, or availability;
- impersonate Sectem or imply an unauthorized relationship or endorsement; or
- use Website content to train an AI model without Sectem’s written permission.
Inquiries and submissions
When you submit an inquiry, application, proposal request, project brief, or other information, you confirm that it is accurate, that you are authorized to provide it, and that its submission does not violate another party’s rights.
Do not send passwords, credentials, regulated data, or confidential business information through a general Website form. Submitting an inquiry does not create a client, partnership, employment, fiduciary, or confidential relationship. A relationship begins only when the appropriate parties enter into a written agreement.
No website payments
Sectem does not process payments, collect payment-card details, or complete purchases through this Website. Commercial terms, invoices, and payment arrangements for client services are handled separately under the applicable written agreement and approved billing process.
Intellectual property
The Website and its text, software, interfaces, graphics, designs, videos, service descriptions, trademarks, and other content are owned by or licensed to Sectem and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and download publicly available material for internal, non-commercial evaluation. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, license, sell, or commercially exploit Website content without prior written permission. Client names, third-party marks, and portfolio materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about the Website or Sectem’s services, Sectem may use that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property or override confidentiality obligations in a separate written agreement.
AI features and demonstrations
The Website may present prototypes, demonstrations, automated tools, or AI-generated material. These experiences may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected results and are provided for evaluation unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
You are responsible for independently reviewing outputs before relying on them. Do not enter confidential, sensitive, or regulated information into a demonstration unless Sectem has expressly authorized that use.
Third-party services
The Website may link to or use third-party platforms and services. Sectem does not control those providers and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” Sectem does not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, or current.
Case studies, capabilities, strategies, and previous outcomes do not guarantee future results. Project outcomes depend on scope, data quality, client participation, third-party systems, market conditions, and other factors. Specific warranties or commitments apply only when stated in a signed agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sectem and its affiliates, directors, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Sectem’s aggregate liability arising solely from use of the Website will not exceed USD 100 or its equivalent in local currency. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Access and changes
Sectem may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Website when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or business operations. We may also restrict access where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.
We may update these terms as the Website, our practices, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting formal proceedings, you and Sectem agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the matter in writing. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, unresolved disputes will be submitted to courts of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan.
