Operating context

Skipify is a Bay Area fintech company building identity-powered checkout for merchants, shoppers, and financial institutions. Its Commerce Identity Cloud recognizes shoppers (often via email), authenticates them, and presents eligible payment methods inside the merchant checkout without forcing a full redirect or wallet install. Public materials describe partnerships with major card networks and issuers and an SDK-based integration model for ecommerce sites.

02

The challenge

Traditional guest checkout is slow and error-prone: shoppers re-enter payment and shipping data, carts abandon, and merchants struggle to keep credentials fresh across devices and channels.

03

The approach

An identity-aware checkout stack that can recognize returning shoppers, verify identity, and present current payment options from financial-institution sources — delivered as embeddable checkout experiences rather than a bolted-on wallet.

04

What was delivered

Product engineering and systems integration around modern checkout flows, platform connectors, and interactive payment UX aligned to Skipify’s identity-commerce model.
