Sectem helped develop a camera IoT platform for traffic counting with detection of people and vehicles of any type — computer-vision delivery in support of Tracsis traffic-data capabilities (not ownership of Tracsis’s broader rail product suite).
Tracsis is an AIM-listed transport technology group known for rail operations, ticketing, safety, and traffic-data services. Its Traffic Data practice publishes vision-based AI counting, classification, and path-tracing capabilities for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists — supporting transport authorities and planners with survey and monitoring data.
Transport teams need reliable multimodal counts and classifications from camera feeds; manual observation does not scale for complex mixed traffic environments.
